It was 1989 when Jacopo Poli's father Toni first set aside nine small barrique casks of a selected distillate. From that year on, he continued to do so every year. In the course of time, the volume percentage was reduced to 55% and this fine spirit was then bottled straight from the cask. After Toni Poli's death, his son Jacopo launched the first bottles of this strictly limited release on the market. Side fact: the label on the bottle is part of the cask in which the grappa was matured.
